STS-118 Now in Orbit

The crew of the Space Shuttle mission STS-118 have just reached their preliminary orbit after another textbook launch this evening. The orbiter and external tanks performed flawlessly and things are off to a great start.

They should be in orbit for approximately two weeks, including a visit to the Inernational Space Station on Friday.
