Ribs-R-Us

Last night we ate at the new restaurant called Ribs-R-Us which is located in the new Ashley Turner Plaza at 40 & 42. Featured on the menu, of course, are their rib plates, but as they also had chicken wings, we decided that we would give them a try.

Available in either mild or hot, we of course chose the hot. The wings are very good size (more like a Hooters wing), and rather than having the usual Buffalo Wing sauce, they have a spiced up barbecue/rib sauce. The ‘hot’ is none too extreme, but it certainly has a bite to it.

We ordered the 48 piece basket ($17.95), and ended up bring half of them home with us. Total dinner, including soft drinks, was less than $25.00.

Elsewhere on the menu, the babyback rib plate (with two sides) was $10.99, a beef rib plate was $10.49, a flounder plate was $8.99. They also have a family style dinner with ribs and other items for $32.99 or so. All-in-all the menu is well-rounded, the restaurant is very clean, and the wait-staff was very helpful.

Ribs-R-Us is definitely worth a try.
