Normally the most incredible custard around, tonight the Blueberry flavored concrete wasn’t up to snuff. On the recommendation of someone who shall remain unnamed, I had a blueberry and walnut concrete (actually I ordered a blueberry, walnut and oreo concrete, but that wasn’t delivered). Perhaps the mistake was mine, because I allowed the concrete to be made with blueberry custard, rather than having them use vanilla custard and fresh blueberries. Either way, the resultant concrete was less-than-stellar.
Note to self: Stick with the raspberry-walnut or pineapple-walnut concretes in the future.
